LEARN-TO-FUSE CLASSES

We've revamped our beginner classes to make it easier and more affordable than ever
to learn to make beautiful fused glass art.

With an easy 3-step plan you can be off and fusing on your own in no time.  Here's how it works:

STEP 1 - "Basic Cutting and Fusing", In this first class you will learn to cut glass and create your first fused glass piece.  We will introduce you to the concepts, terminology and technical information you will need to know.

STEP 2 - The second class, "Fusing and Slumping" will review all the new information you learned in class one and introduce new concepts.  You will create two pieces and then "slump" them into bowls and plates.

STEP 3 - In step 3 you have options.  You can take one or more of several classes offered so you can learn specific techniques such as kiln carving, using glass enamels, creating components for projects. Click on classes to the left for descriptions and cost.

Once you've completed step 1 you are eligible to use our open studio where you can work at your own pace, consult with our instructors on specific projects, practice your glass cutting skills, or experiment creating something totally unique and new.  One of our instructors will always be on site to assist you in creating your project - choosing colors and glass, mold preparation, and firing schedules.

Cost:  Steps 1 and 2 are $75.00 each, this includes glass, materials, kiln firings and use of tools.
