ARTIST SUBMISSIONS FOR REPRESENTATION AND/OR EXHIBITIONS
To submit images for possible inclusion as one of our gallery artists or for special solo or group exhibitions:
1. All artists must be 18 years of age or older.
2. At least 50% of each piece must be made with glass.
3. We will consider all types of glass: mosaic, blown, torchworked, stained, and kiln-formed.
4. All artwork must be for sale and the gallery will recieve 40% commission on all work sold.
5. All artwork must be insured by the artist. The gallery does not insure works on consignment.
Submission instructions:
By email: to karen@dixonglassgallery.com
- Submit 6-10 images of work completed within the last two years. All images should be set at 72dpi
- Include a word document that includes:
- name, address, phone, email, website information
- a list of each piece, dimensions, and a description of the techniques and materials used.
- artist statement
- artist bio
By US mail: to Dixon-Ballog Glass Gallery & Studio, 2040 Old Montgomery Hwy, Pelham, AL 35124
- Submit a CD or DVD that includes all of the above information.
- If you would like your CD/DVD returned be sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
You will be notified within 30 days of receipt of your materials. If we do not have an opening in the gallery we will keep your information on file as a candidate for future openings and special exhibitions.
