WELCOME to Dixon-Ballog Glass Gallery and Studio!

 

Dixon-Ballog Glass Gallery and Studio is a glass art gallery and kiln-formed glass teaching studio in the Birmingham, AL area, owned and operated by artists Deborah Ballog and Karen Dixon.  Our goal is to promote local and regional glass artists, help new glass artists get their work out in the community and provide quality fused glass instruction.  In addition we sell a full line of Bullseye Glass products for the kiln glass studio.  For more information about the services and products we offer please use the links provided.

GLASS ARTIST GATHERING:  Sunday, Sept. 12, 2:00pm to 4:00pm


This will be an informal gathering to discuss topics such as promoting your work out of state, pricing, photographing glass, resources, educating the public about glass art, and anything else you can think of.  We would also like to talk
about ways in which we can elevate the art in the state. We also encourage you to use this time to troubleshoot problems, show and tell your successes, and meet other artists in the medium. 

Topics for the first meeting will include: the importance of a good image to
promote your work, the advantages of out-of-state exhibits, pricing your work, and choices of topics for future meetings.Artists working in all glass mediums are welcome to attend.  Please email info@dixonglassgallery.com to let us know if you plan on attending.
